Course overview
Become a Hyper-V specialist! This two-day workshop teaches both the basics and the top know-how. After attending this course and the deep-dive course afterwards, you will have no more (!) questions about Hyper-V – that’s a promise!
Target group
This workshop is aimed at experienced system administrators, consultants and Hyper-V designers.
Prerequisites
Participants should have at least one year of experience with Windows servers.
Course objective
In this two-day workshop, you will learn best practices for installing Hyper-V and setting up Microsoft virtual networks.

Training environment
The training is completely virtualized. Each participant has a PC with 128 GB RAM, two NVME SSDs (read throughput of up to 3,500 MB/s, write throughput of up to 2,300 MB/s) and a total bandwidth of 1 Gbit/s to the Internet.
Each participant “builds” their own environment with the trainer. With the appropriate hardware, new systems can be set up in seconds.
Hardware
Each participant has a dedicated server in a data center with a total of 1 Gbit connection to the Internet. Each participant server is equipped as follows:
- 128 GB RAM
- at least 20 vCores
- 2 NVME SSDs with at least 3,000 MB/s write and at least 2,000 MB/s read speed
- 1 Gbit to the Internet total bandwidth
Our Trainer
The Master Class was developed by Andy Wendel and is conducted by himself and his experienced team.
Andy Wendel is a Senior Data Center and Cloud Architect and Certified Security Master Specialization Advanced Windows Security. He was and is trained by the internationally renowned security experts Paula Januszkiewicz and Sami Laiho. This certification is renewed every year. Andy Wendel has been working as an IT trainer and consultant since the late 1990s and is also a certified Microsoft Learning Consultant (MCLC). Microsoft has only awarded 56 Certified Learning Consultants worldwide.
